San Diego Currently Ranks in The Top 10

of the 20 Hottest Real Estate Markets in the US.

San Diego is Where Home Buyers are Searching and Properties are Selling Quickly.

San Diego is a Hot Real Estate Market - It is a Great Place to Live and Invest.

Traditionally, Springtime is when the housing market heats up along with the temperatures - it is the time when most people are considering, and actually, buying and selling homes.

Many Home Buyers are searching in San Diego for their next possible home purchase, according to the latest statistics at Realtor.com.  Of the 200 largest real estate markets, San Diego is in the #8 position in terms of property searches.

Having been a licensed real estate agent since 1998, I can confidently testify that when housing is hot, San Diego is always among the hottest markets in the U.S.  The current situation is no exception.

San Diego is a very desirable city in which to reside or invest.  San Diego is also this nation's 8th largest city, which is part of its appeal for many wanting the bustle of a large city.  Weather is the obvious attraction for many who have grown weary of extreme temperatures and conditions of the Midwest, East and Southeast areas of the country.

Homes are Selling Quickly in San Diego.

Homes in San Diego sell in less than half the time as homes on the market in other markets.  The median number of days on the market for other markets in the country is 89 days.  In San Diego, the median number of days a property remains on the market is 43 days.  This relatively quick listing period ranks San Diego as #10 among the 200 largest real estate markets in the U.S.

With first-time buyers beginning to start new households and people re-entering the housing market after the economic crash, competition is heating up for historically low interest rates for mortgage loans.

The American Dream of homeownership is alive and well.
